LA
SAGRADA FAMILIA This unusual nouveau-gothic cathedral is the unfinished work of Barcelona’s favourite son, Antoni Gaudí. Originally designed by architect Francesc del Villar in 1882, the cathedral boasts magnificent spires encrusted with colourful stone sculptures. Construction still continues today and is expected to be fully finished around 2020. The chapel of San José, the crypt and the door of El Nacimiento are completed. The remarkable Passion façade with four more towers is soon to be finished. |
